The storyJH Tattoos

No website.

  • Bookings only through Instagram DMs
  • Nothing to show when people searched “JH Tattoos”
  • No place to send a new client, a review, or a festival visitor
BeforeJulian is a tattoo artist in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, known for black and grey, realism, and fine line work. Before CASTL he had great work and no website, so every new client had to find him on Instagram and start in the DMs.
The live JH Tattoos website on desktop and phone, with the headline “A tattoo that feels like you.”
AfterNow there’s jhtattoos.com: his work up front, a portfolio sorted by style, and “Start your piece” one tap away on any phone. It’s built so people searching for JH Tattoos land on a site that looks like his art, not a template.
Three phone screens from the JH Tattoos site: the home page, the artist section, and the art portfolio.
HowWe designed it phone-first, because that’s where his clients find him: the work, the artist, and the next step, in that order. No menus to dig through, and every page ends with a way to start a piece.
Madison Tattoo Festival kit for JH Tattoos: an event landing page, an Instagram post, a Google Business post, and a table card with a QR code for reviews.
EventWhen Julian booked the Madison Tattoo Festival (Oct 9–11, 2026), we built a festival page with a live countdown, his schedule, directions, and a calendar download. It came with matching Instagram and Google posts and table cards with QR codes, so people who met him at the booth could book or leave a review on the spot.
