The story

Before, the concept, and the shop.

The storyMunay Pastry & Café

A new café. No website.

The menu lived on chalkboards inside the shop
Cake orders and catering had no page to point to
Nothing to find when people searched “Munay Baraboo”

BeforeMunay is a Peruvian family bakery, coffee bar, and catering shop that opened in August 2026 in the 1881 house in downtown Baraboo that locals knew for years as Bella Vita. On opening day it had a beautiful space, a loyal crowd, and active social accounts, but no website.

ConceptWe built a working home page and menu concept: the story, what’s in the case today, the “Matcha Doing?” drinks, cake and catering inquiries, and how to find the shop. It’s phone-first, because most visitors look it up on their way downtown.

Inside Munay on opening day: the pastry case, the coffee bar, and the loft with an Andean textile on the railing. — The shopEvery photo on the concept came from opening day, so the site looks like the real place: the neon wall, the pastry case, the loft. A proper photo shoot comes next.

Concept: designed for Munay and not commissioned yet. Menu items, prices, and hours on the concept are placeholders until Munay confirms them.
